Duck eggs and dog sausage, honey-sweetened wine with lime – looking forward to this one
We should be able to make at least some parts of that particular meal. We’ll probably substitute something else for the dog sausage, though… :)
What about Tyrion’s simple breakfast of fish, bread and bacon burnt black! Always sounds like that had some potential! :)
We definitely want to do that meal, especially since HBO put it word-for-word into the show! I’ve gotten it into my head that the little fish mentioned are sardines–I lived on the Black Sea for a year, and their little fried fish are exactly what I imagine for this scene. So, as soon as I find some, we’ll post it!
Thick cream of wheat with honey and butter (III: 372)
This sounds like the wheat porridge I had when I was younger using burghul (cracked wheat) rather than oats.
Sounds a bit like Smacks.
This one’s on my to-do list!
I’m really looking forward to the Dornish eggs!
