  1. What about Tyrion’s simple breakfast of fish, bread and bacon burnt black! Always sounds like that had some potential! :)

    • We definitely want to do that meal, especially since HBO put it word-for-word into the show! I’ve gotten it into my head that the little fish mentioned are sardines–I lived on the Black Sea for a year, and their little fried fish are exactly what I imagine for this scene. So, as soon as I find some, we’ll post it!

    This sounds like the wheat porridge I had when I was younger using burghul (cracked wheat) rather than oats.
